First context as always to help connect the dots between the moon cycles

The last full moon in scorpio 2 weeks ago was an emotional unearthing of past experiences that can feel utterly haunting and daunting when they arise. It was a powerful supermoon so if things are still arising and swirling for you now please know you are not alone. We are all affected by the moon and this one was no fucking exception. Scorpio and the moon are not best pals but this combination can be a total medicine once the trigger discharges and clarity floods through tears or a new idea of how you can be with your past without it running the show for your future. Scorpio gives us a burning torch and key saying do you really want to be free? Well here is a dark door down some ancient stairs, come with me and let’s go down together to see what you need to see and feel what you need to feel without fixing or judging it. It can be a lot. Shadow work always is when scorpio is around. Any human I know who is really conscious and embodied does this work. We have to be able to be with our grit as much our grace. This is life and it all has its place.

Scorpio is a very heady energy as well as emotional, it can pull us into old wound states and they can get stuck in our present body-minds and our electromagnetic field. This is when the balancing force of Taurus comes in.

Taurus Medicine

Scorpio can bring up a lot of pain. Taurus really wants us to feel some peace and pleasure. The steady, slow, earthy, grounding and stable energy of Taurus. Ah even writing that makes me breathe a sigh of relief. I invite you to pause and take one right now for yourself.

We are in Taurus season and this new moon in Taurus is about re-earthing what has been unearthed by cultivating some new solid ground now there is way less scorpionic intensity around. Taurus is an earth sign all about the body, and being able to rest in your body as a sensual sanctuary to experience deep pleasure, safety, comfort and security.

As someone with a propensity towards intensity and an airy scattered mind, Taurus is a trusted anchor to me. All my Taurus friends I utterly adore for their really calm, patient nervous systems and deep capacity for listening and slow conscious relating.

EMBODIED MANIFESTATION (without spiritually bypassing)

Taurus rules the material world, the land we live on as well physical things like money. Taurus is the season for instant manifestation and this is a new moon which is all about calling in what we desire and literally planting a seed into the earth to grow over a 6- 12 month cycle. Depending on how big the dream is it can take longer. Taurus is all about committing to the long game.

Desire as a Spiritual Path

The last few years of my life have been in deep reverence to the long term shape I want my life to take. I used to be so hungry for instant gratification, I would swing between high highs and low lows on a regular basis. A very scorpio shadow. I had absolutely no idea how to hold the energy of wanting something in my body without burning out or burning others out trying to get it. It takes so much practice and skill to do this. To be able to contain desire and be deeply fed by the act of ‘wanting’ itself. I haven’t spoken about this much publicly as it has been my private personal practice since early 2019. However in recent months life is calling me to share it more and more.

Intimacy and Desire as a Spiritual Path and Love as Art has been the most life changing thing.

We all have desires whether it be more freedom, to be truly seen and heard, to live your creative calling, to have financial stability. To be able to say I long for a deeply committed relationship whilst being so fulfilled by the feeling of that longing and the journey I’m on before it manifests is truly the most incredible thing I could never dream of mastering a couple of years ago. Desire as an art form.

I am being called to begin to really share these practices with you now.

I want to teach you how to hold the charge of what you want in your body and be so fulfilled by the wanting before you actually have it. To live life in the slow burn lane is truly beautiful when you touch how it feels in your nervous system.

We cannot think our visions into reality. Our body has to be the vessel of reality so the body can HOLD that reality. The Body can RECEIVE that reality.

The Taurus archetype is literally a bull grazing and resting in a field, but not just any field. If there was a film to describe Taurus it would be ‘The Field of Dreams’. Taurus goes for its goals and is one of the most hard-working signs of the zodiac with dedication, patience and perseverance a Taurus always achieves its dreams.

The material life of your dreams can only be created externally if it is a skin you are already living in internally. To live in the field that you dream, you have to BE the dream before you see it manifest. The reality of receiving everything you ever wanted is not something you can just will into being. It’s something you have to first be WILLING TO BE to get the results you want to see. It’s not about going out there to get it. You have to create it inside first. And This is utterly magnetic.

Taurus does not action things from the mind.

Taurus is ruled by Venus. Venus is all about attraction, but this is nothing to do with the Law of Attraction. It goes way beyond that and I can’t wait to share a practice with you.

This is about cultivating a deep sense of feeling really good in the journey of getting what you want and it’s giving me chills. It takes daily practice, effort and skill.

Full Moon in Scorpio (26.04.2021)

First some relatable analogies and themes of Scorpio for context

Scorpio is the most intense and primal sign of the zodiac. Scorpio is the rite of passage between life and death which is why it is the season that hosts Samhain/Halloween honouring the souls who have passed on. Scorpio is that really visceral chill you feel in your bones between seasons when there is no separation between the old and the new which is why the scorpio moons fall in transitions between autumn to winter and winter to spring. Scorpio is the descent into the dark seemingly endless void of winter. Scorpio is the return of the light and welcome relief of coming up for air in spring. Scorpio is the sacred pause of nothingness; that little rest between breaths. Scorpio is the blurred line between breakdown and breakthrough like when you finally leave the job or relationship that was eating you alive and the surges of relief and grief you feel when you leave something behind. Scorpio is the messy space between who you once were and who you are yet or about to become. Scorpio is intense feelings that bring immense healing. The pandemic is very scorpionic- 2021 is the beginning of the rebirth which is always symbolised by signs of hope and transformational change alongside the death and decay. Scorpio’s deep power lies in making friends with surrender, of letting go of the old, like the beauty of leaves rotting into the earth providing precious nutrients for new life to grow.

In terms of my own birth chart the archetype that has taught me the most in my life about my self worth and creative purpose is Scorpio. Scorpio is the most misunderstood healing sign of the zodiac because of its intensity, depth and darkness, but if you can come out the other side brings immense transformation of shite into light. Look at the words death and depth, the only difference is the letter ‘A’. A stands Art, dying/letting go is an art, to go deep with yourself is an art. I’m not gonna lie scorpio doesn’t fuck about. Scorpio is the sign that has brought me to my knees in fight, flight, fuck and freeze eventually calling me to surrender, shake, primal dance and scream in the most animal-like emotional release. This literally happened on the scorpio new moon last year just before I rebirthed Hunter And Her and released my comeback single The Cocoon. Rebirthing my art brought up all of my light and my shite at the same time. This is a reason why I gave up music for so long. Because I wasn’t emotionally or mentally strong enough to hold myself through my core wound of sometimes crippling self doubt.

Scorpio and Mental Health

Scorpio in my experience is about mental health more than anything else. Scorpio is known as the psychotherapist of the zodiac because of its propensity to investigate the psyche. Scorpio is very much related to psychiatrist Carl Jung, depth psychology and shadow work. Scorpio is associated with the shadow parts of the human psyche like anger, fear, grief, shame, jealousy and despair. These emotions have been deemed inappropriate by our culture so they got stuffed down into the collective unconscious hence the term shadow “hidden from sight”. The thing is shadow emotions are not bad, they are part of a rich range of feelings and expressions that make us human. What causes discomfort is our thought/belief about these emotions that causes a judgement of good or bad so the mind/ego shuts the feeling down to keep us safe from judgment. Then the emotion gets stuck and lives in our bodies.

Much research has shown that unprocessed emotions cause depression and dis-ease in the body. Gabor Matè's' 'When The Body Says No' is a really insightful book to read on this. Shadows are usually really tender vulnerabilities we are scared to admit so we hide them underneath embarrassment and shame and shove those precious parts of ourselves down underground. In my own lived experience I do not see any separation between my mental health and healing my creative expression. My experience of anxiety and depression I now see were arrows pointing me in one direction. They were asking me to feel.

Scorpio and Emotional and Creative Healing

I am proof that emotional and creative healing can happen in tandem and yet some really dark periods of my life were very much just about my mental health and survival. And that is ok. Feeling everything at once put me into overwhelm and my system had to shut down to help me rest and process.

Scorpio is life and death remember. Scorpio is mostly related to the ego and metaphorical psychological death or death to the ego. Scorpio is associated with a snake shedding its skin. Imagine your beliefs had skin. Scorpio wants us get curious about the skin we are living in, our thought processes around our feelings so we no longer fuse the thought and the feeling which becomes a belief which becomes our identity and therefore skin we habitually live in. The more I would try to shut self doubt out the louder it became until I could no longer ignore the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual pain I was in. I had to dig deeper. I had to begin to peel away at that layer. My self doubt was rooted in feelings of low self worth and working slowly to build up my self esteem brought me back to my gifts hiding under all this other shit like toxic cultural conditioning and childhood trauma.

That’s why I made the acronym for A.R.T. as A-ching R-aw T-ruth as there is always so much I’ve had to continually overcome to put myself and work out there.

Because underneath your shit are your creative gifts.
If you don’t think you are creative you are believing the greatest myth.
Scorpio wants you to sit with this, if a Scorpio was a person they would tell you the hard loving truth that you not believing you are creative is bullshit.

Scorpio And The Heart

Scorpio wants you to get intimate with your heart as the place to start. The heart rules our emotional bodies and feelings. Scorpio wants you to face your fears and accept and try to love them so completely that you weep and cry yourself to sleep with healing tears. Scorpio wants you to face the wounds of old so you learn to self hold and reclaim your gold.

Scorpio is a water sign, water is associated with emotion. Scorpio doesn’t do shallow waters, scorpio wants you to go straight into your unfelt feelings, rawest vulnerabilities and deepest sensitivities.

Why? Because to me this is the place you will find your most honest creativity.

Scorpio wants to take you into the shadow watery places of your soul to dig for your own gold. Scorpio is the ultimate gold digger. By gold I mean truth. I mean your A.R.T. Scorpio wants your whole A-ching R-aw T-ruth. Scorpio is also associated with the element of fire and wants to give you a torch to help you see in the dark. Scorpio wants to help you speak the stories you are ashamed to tell and the places you are scared to reveal but ultimately this is what will help you heal. Scorpio is hidden power calling you to unearth your deepest place of self worth in order to prepare you for a major creative rebirth. Scorpio wants you to go underneath the surface to reveal your creative purpose. Scorpio wants you to embrace your soul scars with reverence and love, for they mark every battle you fought and won rough. Scorpio wants you to reclaim the power you have been self denying so you can rise from the ashes like the Phoenix rising.

Scorpio and Remembering My Power.

Scorpio is about finding deep inner power and freedom from dismantling external structures that have caused inner ruptures of our self perception.

Scorpio is about curiosity and questioning how and why we relate to ourselves in certain ways

I had to find a new way of creating a relationship to how I saw and treated myself.

Nearly 2 years ago I came up with a poetic teaching concept called SHIFT TO YOUR GIFT I have kept secret until now. Being completely transparent I wasn’t fully in my power to be able to share it yet. The older and greyer I become I truly believe like a seed we have to grow into our visions and I had some more self acceptance and self actualisation work to do on myself first before I could share this to help others. Here is the fiercely loving intention behind my now not so secret SHIFT TO YOUR GIFT© teaching. Remember, I’m Glaswegian so I like to swear which shows I care.

WHEN YOU COMMIT TO REALLY SEEING AND ACCEPTING YOUR SHIT, THAT’S WHEN YOU SHIFT TO YOUR GIFT.

I’ve got to a point in my life where I can admit these 3 things and and actually be more than alright with them. If I’m honest it is has come as a real lived experience since I took the leap of faith and released Hunter And Her last year that:

1. My greatest gift is also my deepest shit.
2. My greatest gift can co-exist alongside my shit.
3. There is no separation between my core wound of self doubt and living my biggest dreams out.

There is only one difference between the words shit and shift and that is the letter ‘F’

F is for “feeling”

I now fully know in my bones there is nothing about myself I have to fix and everything to feel

The difference is how I’ve learned to deal.

Scorpio doesn’t not allow me to let self doubt run my life anymore. For a long time it did.

I couldn’t think my way back to my creativity I had to feel. After many years of therapy for emotional healing and mentorship for creative recovery I see my shadows were not my natural state but it was the way I had learned to self RELATE.

I had to begin to unfog the my inner mirror so I could see myself clearer.

This has taken a huge amount of practice to expand my nervous system to be able to be fully seen. This is ongoing work and takes patience, perseverance and support. Don’t be fooled, every teacher and mentor has their own teacher and mentor. Which brings me to the golden glue that holds the community and The Cocoon together.

MIRROR MEDICINE

We are relational beings hardwired to connect.
We have been sold the shit show that perfection will bring us more connection.
Perfection is the biggest myth, it doesn’t exist.
When you try to be perfect before you are seen, there is a vulnerable part of yourself you have to judge or reject which causes an internal disconnect.

Self perfection and deep human connection cannot coexist.
Perfection chokes connection.

This is where my group teaching method Mirror Medicine comes in

When you use your inner mirror to self reflect and look inside, then share your innermost feelings and findings with another, your story can become a form ofhealing for yourself and the other.

When you see and hear the lost parts, the aching places and the golden gifts of yourself in others’ stories, this creates transformational shifts as the places where we usually want to hide find acceptance and belonging. Relational healing expands our bodies nervous system to hold more of our vulnerability and power. We are all reflections of each other, we all have shite and when we bring the shite to the light in conscious ways it can bring so much healing, freedom and power.

I can see myself in the wounds and wonders in you, and you can see yourself in the wounds and wonders in me.

I truly believe sharing our hearts is a form of art. It is a practice of being able to slowly expand our capacity to be more of who we truly are. It takes time to build trust in ourselves and others and the only way to do it is to practise little by little over time. Scorpio is all about deep relating and intimacy built on a foundation of loving boundaries, honesty, bravery, accountability and conscious vulnerability. This is why I created a private social network as this kind of connection needs a very sealed container for this delicate work to unfold.

When we gift our vulnerability in non-judgmental spaces we can help each other rewrite the places we tend to habitually hide and dim our light.

My shit was the story I was telling myself about my gifts, that they were not good enough, and even when I found a more stable sense of self worth, I had to contend with really low self belief and lack of self confidence. I now know when and how to call self doubt out. And when I don’t, I seek out mirror medicine for support.

New Moon in Aries (11.04.2021)

Astrology and the cosmos are nature and intrinsically connected with the changing of the seasons. As the first sign of zodiac wheel, Aries is the embodiment of spring. Aries is both the seed and the first signs of new life.

This Aries new moon is a powerful portal of rebirth rooted in self love and self worth. The Great Re-Worth as I like to call it. As we step into a new 8 year Venus cycle, we are being asked to simultaneously step up and root deeper into our true-hearted wants. What does this mean? Venus rules relationships and creativity, this new moon is a further shedding of what came to light at the last full moon with regards to integrating and releasing the serving and unserving ways we have created and related to ourselves and others in the last 8 years. The last full moon was an integration, this new moon is an INITIATION.

It's like giving yourself permission to put the keys in your heart's ignition.

Creativity and Relationships are arts of depth and devotion. It depends what kind of art you want to make with others. If you want to go deep, and create a life of soul it requires the courage of an Aries that does not waste time with half-hearted relating and creating.

Venus (relationships/creativity) and Mercury (communication) are both in firey and passionate Aries helping us to be clear and direct in speaking our needs and show our heart cards and soul scars. Our heart is the place all meaningful art is made.

To make relating an art, Aries asks us to boldly lead from the heart in all of its vulnerability so you give others a chance to meet you half way at the bridge of the brave.

Aries tell us there really is no other way that real love and meaningful work can root and stay.

So I ask you. Up until this point in your life.

Full Moon in Libra March 28th

Libra is the sign of love and relationship, in its highest expression- equal and right relationship, in its lowest expression- power play and people pleasing.
We are entering a completely new 8 year relationship cycle today 25th March and a very sensitive but ultimately healing astrological alignment happening on the full moon on Sunday 28th and March 29th. It is a rare alignment and a very rich chance to do some powerful emotionally mature heart clearing and integration before the new moon in Aries on April 11th which is the first new moon of the astrological year.
Let us get our hearts clear and in gear! For context, let’s dive into a little Libra inventory to understand some themes that will be coming up.

The Gifts of Libra

Libra teaches us about the fine art of balancing the needs of the self with the needs of other. Libra wants peace between friends, families, lovers, societies, cultures and this precious land we live on. Libra is all about cultivating a sense of equality.
Libra is about mutual reciprocity. Libra wants us to strike the sweet spot between giving and receiving. The golden gifts that the Libran archetype embodies is its love for loving, its innate sense of empathy, cooperation, teamwork and community.
Libra loves to love and be loved and to make sure everyone is ok. Libra, the sign of the scales and an air sign that is super fast thinking, a great conversationalist and excellent at being able to see both sides to situations with a graceful ability to keep the peace during conflict.
In the tarot, Libra’s card is justice, and, as Libra LOVES all beings, Libra will fight for justice; justice is the one thing Libra will disturb the peace for in order to stand up for the voiceless. Calling out unfair power structures, communicating anger and righteous spiritual rage when their heart is ablaze calling for social change is a superpower of Libra.
Political activist AOC and black feminist writer Bell Hooks are Libras. Libra is the ultimate dreamer and wants to live in an ideal world. John Lennon was a Libra and the lyrics to ‘Imagine’ are a beautiful example of alchemising pain into art. Art gives us hope and helps us cope. Art brings us closer to the ideal.
To me an ideal is an idea that has become real

THE IDEAL THAT DRIVES LIBRA IS THAT IT LONGS TO CREATE HARMONY AND MINIMISE HARM

The Challenges of Libra (with some personal experience and wisdom thrown in)

Like every astrological archetype Libra has a shadow. Libra’s biggest shadow is people pleasing.
Libra can pedestal love and harmony so much to the detriment of its own needs. Libra will readily advocate for the needs of others without a second thought, but is not comfortable stating their own.
When a Libra is not conscious of this shadow, Libra will completely change itself like a chameleon to fit into who it thinks the other wants or needs them to be.
This is actually manipulation when you really look at it honestly. Thank fuck I’ve integrated my shadow enough to write that without shaming myself. Another shadow of Libra is codependency.
I really don’t like using the word codependent as one of my old therapists says “it implies that you are fucked and you are not fucked”.
Loved her. And that reframe. But yes, we are relational beings, we are dependent on each other to survive and thrive but many of us have been placed or place ourselves into overly care-taking the needs of others which really blurs the boundaries between self and other.
Flimsy to no boundaries is a big one and this can applied to ANYONE especially if it’s been modelled to you from young. When looking through the lens of gender binaries women have been conditioned to be this; the nurturer, the be everything to everyone.
Self sacrifice and then feeling resentment can be a big shadow of Libra; no one person call fulfil all our needs and this is a lesson to us all that what we project we expect. Not expressing our own needs or putting another on a pedestal is unfair to all parties involved as it’s based on falsity and fantasy instead of fact. Trying to be perfect is exhausting and distracts us from building a healthy integrated sense of self and personal power. Perfectionism is rooted in white supremacy and is a dehumanising mask that blocks us from genuine connection.

Personal Reflection and Prompts

This is where Aries, the libran mirror comes in. Libra needs to look to Aries to fully embody a sovereign sense of self.
Aries the sign of the self honours its truth first before anything else and isn’t afraid to say it.
This is why Hunter And Her advocates for each person seeking, speaking and standing for Love and Truth.
If Libra is Love, Aries is truth. This is ideal relationship that this Libran woman believes will let us all heal.
Hand on my heart as a Libran, love and relationship are where I I have struggled with people-pleasing and pouring all my energy into lovers and friendships in a bid to heal and find belonging.
If you break up the word Belonging it reads Be-Longing. For a long time I didn’t know who I was or what I stood for because I was always told who to be, looking outside of myself for everyone else to tell me, trying to prove myself to people who couldn’t see me.
I couldn’t even accept the praise I got either. How could I when I couldn’t praise me? And also, this bloody culture that conditions us to be a disempowered sheep that follows the crowd bowing down to the powers that be without any relationship to our own truth or self-agency.
I used to look for my peace, love and healing in all my lovers and others unconsciously using them as a way to hide from the work I needed to do on myself. My willingess to cultivate a relationship to truth and my own love has been a huge part of my self discovery and creative recovery.
The Hunter is about searching for the higher spiritual truth as a beacon to find one’s own unique truth. The like-hearted communities and teachers that I aligned with on the spiritual path have been the healthy and empowering relationships my soul needed to be cocooned in as I learned to cocoon myself.
I have learned some hard truths about my patterns but fuck I’ve never felt so at ease and at peace in me. It is ongoing soul work to stay committed to the path of love and truth, it is a graft but it is my path and I don’t do it by halves.

✨ New Moon in Aquarius Prayer for Healing our Shite and Uniting in our Light ✨
To be read as if you are standing at the top of a mountain with a wide stance and arms raised to the night sky.

The human heart is like a little star.
Its power is to create love not scars.
When one heart embraces the unique quirks and hurts of another and they become friends, there are no love limits, no bounds, no ends.
A cluster of hearts in action can turn the tragic into magic, building trust, bringing peace and warm power to the panic.
The Collective heart is made up of valuable, visionary and vast starlight.
A luminous, limitless lantern of magical, mountainous might.
This big beaming beacon sings a great heart song, a loving siren, a healing bond.
As all these little lights merge to become one, it holds the powerful frequency of the life giving sun.
Each solar powered heart acts like a sacred carer, a golden gift, a medicine bearer
Please share Her, it makes life much fairer.
A co-created Great Shimmering Heart.
An earthly, wholly Body of Stars.
Kindness is Timeless.
Empathy is Everything.
When one chooses to live and give and give from their unique star heart.
This is a place The Reformation for All can truly start.
Not from greed or solely personal need, may commUNITY become the creed we now heed.
Let us innovate from this great weight to become a Society of Stars.
We are The Revolution that can heal this sad sea of deep scars.
A heart not only keeps us alive, it is here to be used to help us all thrive.
Let us burn down the notion that there ever need be a star of the show.
We are All Stars here to help each other grow.

Full Moon in Leo, 21.01.2021

This actually blows my heart-mind wide open!
I wrote this prayer channeling the messages of the new moon in Leo 6 months ago and SOOO much of it has been actioned by the power of people coming together and embodying every single sentence!!
Yes lion hearts! We must keep it going! Do not underestimate your creative power!
Speak and share your truth from the highest place in your heart as it will manifest!


A Prayer for Loving Hard
A lion stands for courage which means to live with heart.
Can you imagine if we co-created an era where we took it all apart and did our part to herald The Age of Heart?
When loving hard was seen as the highest form of art?
Where emotional intelligence took up reformational restorative residence?
And fierce peace and joyous justice were a daily service, instead of power playing propagandist presidents?
A global family of Lion hearts roaring prayers of tender loving care.
The Age of Heart birthed a new way to relate that was humble, honourable and honest.
Where Truth and Trust became a Golden Glue with which the lions sealed each and every promise.
The heart organ is a beacon of brilliance and radical resilience.
May we begin to clear the fears that beat inside the chest.
Let us become deeply intimate with why our hearts cannot rest.
May we allow our unlived dreams and visions to be vulnerable, yes we will stumble and fumble in this struggle.
May we see hate as a golden gate that fierce love penetrates and infiltrates.
LET US DROP A GOLDEN ANCHOR INTO THE GREAT MOTHER AND THANK HER.
LET'S FINALLY DO RIGHT BY HER
A grounded heart is happy to be held accountable.
From this place no obstacle is insurmountable.
Let us love with the highest-hearted courage.
For this is the time to be brave.
To herald this beautiful age.
Us Brave hearts were made for these days
ALL LIONS HAVE HEARTS OF GOLD.
Their hearts are huge and their roar is bold.
May our new Love Language be ACTS OF COMMUNITY HEART SERVICE.
Long gone are empty words of half-hearted affirmation and lip service.
Let us live the LANGUAGE WHERE LOVE IS A VERB AND THE DEHUMANISED GET THE JUSTICE THEY DESERVE.
A truly proud heart doesn’t want the ego to be preserved.
Bypass old fears entering our ears.
The heart is a river made of all of our golden tears.
This is the revolution that will become the golden years.
2020 is the year love broke up with fear.
Forget New Age love 'n' light shite.
Let’s make this The Brave Age where we stayed with the darkness ALL the way through to the light.
