the fully
expressed woman
A ceremonial celebration of women’s unapologetic self expression
Oru’s Women’s circles led by Francesca Filippa are all about self expression and genuine connection.
On Saturday 5th July we will gather under sun and sky for a celebratory self expression ceremony on the rooftop of Oru to embody the archetype of The Fully Expressed Woman.
The Fully expressed woman is vital, alive, full of life.
She is wild.
The Fully Expressed Woman is electric in her essence, raw, untamed.
She is unashamed.
Her body is a dance floor.
Her voice is the answer.
The fully expressed woman is unapologetic in her bold truth.
Her heart and words pierce and move you.
She is the flaming sun.
She is a force of nature.
She is the thing every woman secretly burns to be; fierce, feral and free.
The fully expressed woman is inside you without question.
May we come together and bring forth more of her essence.
WHO THIS IS FOR The Fully Expressed Woman is for women, femmes and trans women who desire to own more of their fire in a powerful, joyful activation of unapologetic self expression with like-hearted women.
EXPECT Progressive conversation, ceremonial ritual, sensual movement, primal dance, voice activation, creative writing, sharing and group song.
WEAR something you feel beautiful and free in! No tight yoga gear. Let your essence and self expression shine through!

What the community are saying...
-
An anchor in my life, on my lowest days, it has provided comfort and permission to be exactly where I am, and on my good days it has given me so much inspiration and motivation to keep taking steps on my journey as a musician. I am so grateful to have these wonderful people in my corner, supporting me through the ups and downs of life and the creative path.

This community has been a big part in me not only accepting my sensitivity but celebrating it & sharing it, through writing, poetry or simply a moment of relatable connectivity with the amazing souls that make it up.

we're reminded that we’re all artists, capable of so much more than what’s typically seen as "successful" art. Being part of this incredible group of humans has given me the courage to create more boldly than ever before, and I’ve gained belief in my voice and its potential to spark cultural change, even on a small scale. The support of Francesca and the community has been deeply empowering, and it’s had a profound impact on my creative growth.

When I joined I was introduced as a poet, a title I did not always feel worthy of but any time I have doubted my own expression is worthy I have been met with tenderness, love and encouragement in the community. In this space I honour my creative expression in all ways and beyond the narrow perception of producing art, into the expanse of all the ways that I live and express art.

I can simply be and feel seen, Francesca’s way of holding the space teaches us all to show up, open our hearts, and embrace more of who we are. This deep, playful, beautiful community is helping me to see the value in my voice and grow in creative confidence.

about francesca
I am a multi-disciplinary artist, voice and creative mentor and socio-cultural change facilitator.
I am interested (obsessed) in the intersections of voice, emotions, identity and artistry and how nurturing these things can shape and change culture.
I have a deep ache for myself and you to be able to share however we are feeling and show whatever we are creating and let it be more than enough.
This is why I create spaces to help us do that- to be in micro-cultures where we can truly be ourselves. To me this is an A.R.T., a reimagined way of being human; to be the aching raw truth of all parts of who we really are and not the perfect persona or certain version we thought we had to be.
