I specialise in mentoring sensitive, self conscious creative women and mothers to be fully expressed and take up space in your own way without selling your body’s rhythm and soul to the system.

Why this work is needed and WHY I CREATED IT

I know what it feels like to be a deeply sensitive woman with a lot inside me to express and, at the same time, a pervasive sense of self-consciousness that runs alongside that has made me hide and hold back my voice and the enormity of creativity and light I am meant to bring into the world in this life time.

For some women you have a craving to find love and partnership to feel deeply fed. I have a burning soul deep hunger to be fully expressed in this life. Full expression is my purpose and I have had to find ways to make myself feel safe to take up space in my own way without performing or overriding my body’s sensitivities and insecurities which has burned me out more times that I can count in aesthetic-metric grind culture.

My self consciousness comes from a deep imprint of the shame of my younger self that feels she needs to be perfect to be seen.

Taking up space in my 20s on big stages and festivals with my music and songs was my first initiation

  • being unexpectedly faced with the confronting intimacy of standing in front of rooms of people to teach and public speak was the next, followed by the hardest of them all; promoting my own soul-led business on social media when lockdown hit.

    Taking up space is a vulnerable thing to do but that's where I come in- to walk with you you to expand your capacity to feel safe to be seen and share your gifts with the world that works with your sensitive essence and your body's rhythms.

    We do this the embodied feminine way as the world does not need more creatively brilliant burnt out women hiding their gifts due to shame of not being able to conform to perfectionist, patriarchal grind or perform and override your truth or the female body's slower, cyclical seasonal pace.

What it’s like to be mentored by me

  • First of all I am not a coach or a therapist. I do not tell you what to do or try to pathologise or fix you, these are not the dynamics between us. I am an artist and mentor with a gift of deep sensitivity and perception to be able to really see you in the places you may not be able to see yourself. I act as a piercingly clear mirror to reflect your own knowing and gifts back to you. Mentoring is where I bring my unique lens of life and lived experience that is far beyond the value of any trained skill I hold. My ability to really see you is worth its weight in gold. One woman recently described my ability to see her as a mystical ability- I’ll take that. I give generously but you, the mentee leads the work, the more you give and bring to me to see, the more you receive from me as your mentor.

  • I bring an expansive sight of holding you to your creative potential and possibility, to your power and bigness with a lot of love for the places in you that feel small. I bring enormous compassionate and emotionally attuned witnessing to your pain and insecurities but I speak to your power and agency more. I am not afraid to challenge you as much as I love to cheerlead you. I go all in with you, I hold you and I expect the same devotion and commitment back in you holding yourself to this work in between sessions and I’ll be right there with you. I am extremely empathic and sensitive when needed and also fierce love and direct when needed. I’m here for those who are organised, devoted, ready to go deep, show up and give your all. You are here because you are ready to say yes to an expansion of your expression and have it fully backed by a passionate woman with full belief in you.  

  • I work through a fully integrative somatic, shadow, spiritual and self expression lens honouring you as a whole woman- your body, emotions and nervous system capacity, your deep soul desires and purpose, your voice, lived experience and story, and the artistry of how you uniquely are meant to share your essence with the world. And we do it in a way that is SUSTAINABLE for you in your own way at your own pace. Every woman has a different lived experience and varying capacity in different phases of her life. We work with where you are with enormous compassion and I also stretch you and hold you to the power and potential of your big woman and what is possible for you. When we work with the more shadow terrain and buried parts of you that have been exiled and repressed, we hold them with reverent depth and lightness and with a lot of play, joy and humour (when we can) as the places you have been hiding are the thing that is going to make you come alive when they are tenderly and skillfully exposed, owned and expressed. I know this delicate process intimately. I call it holding the shite and the light at the same time and it is LIBERATING to the parts of you still stuck in the story of the woman you are outgrowing. to be held by the woman in you who KNOWS.

  • The body of work I serve is vast with many limbs and threads that is first rooted in the guts and gold of my lived experience wisdom as a woman, artist, leader and devotee to my spiritual and creative practice of the feminine.

    The core essence of this work weaves Somatics, Shadow work, Self Expression, Spirituality and Creativity together. And the many others below I draw upon intuitively when called to.

    My 20 years of studies and training span a full spectrum of modalities and traditions in the expressive, embodiment, spiritual, healing and creative arts. Ranging from:

    • Opera Singing as a teenager highly commended to study at RSAMD.

    • BA in Creative and Cultural Studies, Film and Theatre, BMus with 1st class Honours in Contemporary Music Performance and Production.

    • Yoga Teaching, Circle Facilitation, Intuitive and Primal Movement, Dance, Female Embodiment and The Female Nervous System, Mature Feminine Energetics, Integrative Somatics, Parts Work, Breath Work, Voice Work, Eco-Centric Ritual, Poetry, Writing, Storytelling, Astrology and Creative Expression.

My biggest value lies in how much my heart and soul burns for this work for women’s full expression, you will feel that Scottish-Sicilian fire and passion when you are with me- I am known by many as their hype woman.

I have a natural gift with making you feel deeply seen and understood and I am always honing my craft and skills in holding space. 

I have a highly creative mind and insatiable hunger to pull out your gifts and help you shift to your gifts.

I have pulled my voice, creativity and self value out of the absolute abyss many times so much so I developed a signature philosophy on it in lockdown called A.R.T. You can read all about me and my work here.

I have 28 years experience and 2 Bachelors degrees in the performing and creative and cultural arts and many years of gigging solo and with bands, writing, recording and releasing my own music as well as performing and directing my own film. 

I’ve been navigating the emotional and creative risks and shifts of running my own business for 10 years… 

  • teaching yoga, embodied expression, somatics, 1:1 and group immersions, holding transformative space for thousands of folks from all backgrounds from community spaces and studios, big companies, socio-cultural events, and festivals.

    I hold 9 years of 1:1 mentoring experience, run a 5.5 year strong thriving online creative community membership, and a whole life of being a poet, musician, writer and singer-songwriter amongst other art forms like film making. 

    I am brilliant at building real community for a common cause.

    1:1 mentorships are deep dives, and an enormously valuable investment in your expression that will ripple way beyond the time we work together.

Those who want to feel into each other before mentoring or returning mentees who want a top up. I offer a single session to see if we are a fit before commiting that can be discounted off the total cost of your journey if we decide to work together.

  • A 75 min intensive deep dive on zoom where you bring a block/desire that's alive and I will take you through a somatic experiencing or embodiment and expression practice in real time or give reflection and creative direction.

  • I knew that I wanted to start putting myself and my music out there again, but I felt held back by a deep sense of inadequacy and fear that was hard to shake.   • 2 years ago, I was unconfident in my own skin. I knew I had a message to share but had so many blocks in believing that I could share them with the world.
