We are a progressive movement of women practising unapologetic creative expression, redefining art and culture on our own terms.

We are a diverse, global community of women who meet twice monthly online in ceremony and twice a year in person to practice the A.R.T. of Alive Raw Truth; to be the most embodied, electric, creative expression of yourself. We make art because it feeds our souls and makes us feel fully alive.

We come together to move, write, create, witness, share, support and encourage each other in self expression and genuine connection. No spiritual bypassing or fluffy, fake bullshit here, we have a shared desire for the raw and the real.

Birthed in lockdown from a hunger to build a community of ride or die allies committed to creating as a way of life, we are still going strong, growing and evolving together in our intimate micro-culture of sensitive, deep, wild women walking shoulder to shoulder, side by side, we ride. Many of us have become friends for life.

about us

  1. We are a non-hierarchical, rebellious space; it doesn’t matter what stage you are at in your creative practice, we don’t measure ourselves or our art by academic standards or an external yardstick. We define our value and success.

  2. We are the full spectrum of: creative women running side hustles and small businesses, we are women juggling studies, we are women with full time corporate jobs making art on our lunch breaks, we are freelance facilitators, we are child free by choice women, we are mothers rediscovering our voices, we are activists, we are women following the pull of counter-cultural callings, we are all of it.

  3. We disrupt grind culture and make quality art in alignment with our cycles and nature. We are women who value slow burn creative living that prioritises rest and process over productivity and perfection.

  4. We are protectors and advocates of land and humanity. Women’s voices hold the regenerative power to pierce hearts and open minds so every living being may thrive.

  5. We create art as a part of women’s role in stewarding and shaping eco-centric cultures, politics and economies into the future. We believe in the creative spark as an essential human quality and the freedom to develop it as an essential human right. Our diverse works of art have a common thread of expanding access and removing barriers to expression wherever they exist.

  6. We fully believe more art from women is a valuable gift and vital contribution to the wellbeing of ourselves, the earth and the collective.

Who this is for

Women, femmes and trans women who want to be part of a generative space to make art as a way of life in a ride or die collective of emotionally generous women who fully back you.

We want women willing to devote yourself to art as a meaningful and mysterious spiritual path of self realisation and success on your own terms and the success of each other. You love to hype other women.

WHAT IS A.R.T.?

A.R.T. is A practice, a philosophy and a path.

In essence, A.R.T. is a redefinition of Art called Alive Raw Truth; to be the most embodied, electric, creative expression of yourself.

Aliveness

is a woman’s embodied vitality, her life force, her eros, her pulsing sensual energy, her spark.

RAWNESS

is a woman’s most electric essence; her sensitive, wild, feral, untamed, unapologetic natural state.

TRUTH

is a woman’s depth, her divinity, her soul, her power, her instincts, her wisdom, her desires, her honesty, her innate, creative expressive nature.

MONTHLY CEREMONIES AND EVENTS

HER BODY OF A.R.T.

is our 90 min online monthly embodiment, spiritual and writing practice.

It is a devotional ceremony for the female body to ignite and attune a woman’s energetic field to her most alive, electric essence. Expect a theme of the month that starts with a teaching transmission and ends with a creative writing ritual and optional sharing for integration and community connection. It can include any of the following: subtle and tender somatics of self touch and breath, slow, sensual and erotic movement, energetic clearing, boundary work, emotional release, primal, wild dance, voice work, ceremonial ritual.

HER WORDS AND WORKS OF ART

is our 2 hour online monthly open mic celebration of a women’s voice and creative expression.

It is an event to hold your artist accountable to showing up and sharing your creative process and a piece no matter how grindy life gets or the excuses your critic or mind wants to make. This event grows your capacity and confidence to take up space and cultivate devotion to your creative practice. And, you actually make a body of art every cycle that deepens with seasonal attentive tending. Expect to be deeply seen and resonated with, multiple mic drops, hilarious cackles, tears and all of the in between on this one. Every woman’s voice is heard.

THE PRACTICALS

We are an all year round hybrid virtual and in person subscription based membership that opens seasonally depending on space.

Online times

We meet twice a month online every other Thursday at 7.30pm UK time.

On the 2nd Thursday of every month is Her Body of A.R.T. - a sensual and dynamic self-expression ceremony of movement, dance, and creative writing ritual.

On the 4th Thursday of every month is Her Words and Works of Art- an open mic for sharing creative process and pieces.

In person times

We meet twice a year in person in spring and autumn for full day and weekend immersions in London.

For annual members we have an end of year performance installation in London to privately invited guests.

  • A monthly written muse rich in creative inspiration, practice resources and prompts.

  • A slick, organised community platform called Circle away from social media that hosts replays, playlists, recorded audio-visual meditation and embodiment practices, rituals for integration and sharing long form art in a sacred space.

  • 1x monthly 2 hour open mic

  • A WA group for real time shares, integration and deepening connection and friendship

  • Discounts 1:1 mentoring sessions/ packages exclusive only to W.O.A.C. members

  • Discounts on events, immersions and retreats only to W.O.A.C. members

Membership Options

Membership is by invitation or application only

We open to new members once a season depending on if spaces are available.

We are an intimate space of 16 women max, every woman’s journey is deeply witnessed and her voice heard.

Minimum commitment is one season.

COST:

  • 6-12 month membership is £66/pm via direct debit

  • Seasonal 3 month membership is a single payment of £198.00 or 2 x £99

FRANCESCA FILIPPA IS THE CREATOR AND VISIONARY OF THE A.R.T. COLLECTIVE

I am a multidisciplinary artist, embodiment and spiritual teacher, facilitator and voice and creative mentor.

The call from my heart to create this space back in lockdown in 2021 was to build the structure and community I needed as a creative and still need and will always need as a woman and artist who has chosen an alternative path.

The urge from my soul to create this space is because I live for bringing the art out in women, there is not a woman on this earth that doesn’t have art inside of her or a story to tell or a calling to answer. Your Alive Raw Truth is your A.R.T.; your most electric, honest expression.

I have never given up on The Women of A.R.T. Collective because it burns in me. I go to bed thinking about it, I wake up thinking about it. I don’t do it for validation, this vision is my calling, my vocation. I am a vessel for its message. It is much bigger than me and I pray its legacy lives in people’s hearts and art and marks culture in ways that go beyond me.
